Spiritual Manifesting with the Law of Attraction

A popular topic is known as "The Law of Attraction," "Cosmic Ordering," or "The Secret." I call it, "Spiritual Manifesting."

In the 90's my wife and I spent considerable time and money studying under the expert tutelage of Bob Proctor. We arranged for him to mentor us for a full year in addition to attending many of his seminars. Bob is the only person I've met who had Napoleon Hill's classic book "Think and Grow Rich" work for him in the exact way it was intended to work. He went from about $6,000 in annual income to over a million in about 3 years.

We understood what Bob was teaching about spiritual manifesting on an intellectual basis, but it just didn't seem to click until about 1996. Let me tell you how it happened.

We'd always wanted to live on a lake, but the lakefront property values were beyond our reach. Even though Bob had taught us that a house was not a very good goal, we kept imagining one on a lakefront lot. One day we were riding in our small boat along an east shore of one of the 12 lakes, which are connected by canals near our neighborhood, and my wife rather casually said, "I don't want a big house. I'd just be happy with one of those small ones over there."

When she said this, I was struck with a funny sensation. I could perceive the words going away from her and out into some other dimensional space. They seemed to echo away at an odd angle. Two weeks later one of the houses along that strip came up for sale. It was an estate being sold by the brother of the deceased owner. The house had been vacant for some time while it was being prepared for the market and the brother had suddenly decided to go ahead and sell it.

We went to look at it and decided to put in an offer. We had no idea exactly how we'd pay for the down payment. At the time we were professional real estate agents, so we put the offer together ourselves after we'd contacted our favorite mortgage broker and gotten his approval. We offered to close in 30 days at a slight discount from the sales price.

Later that day we found out that there were three other offers on the house for about the same amount. We worried about it all night, but the next day we found that the owner liked our offer the best because we had no contingencies and were going to close quickly.

The only problem was that we didn't have enough for the down payment. We did have several closings lined up for that month, so we worked diligently on them. We arranged an advance against a commission and we also used the commission we were earning as the buyer's agents on the house we were buying.

On the day of closing, we had exactly the amount of money we needed. We'd had our best month ever and we spent every cent on the down payment. The house was ours! We'd successfully used Spiritual Manifesting to create every element we needed to reach our goal.

Six years later we sold it for about three times what we'd spent on it originally and at a value about 30% higher than it had appraised at.

This is a great story, but it could have been a chance occurrence. The only thing is that we then did the same thing all over again, only this time we used Spiritual Manifesting to acquire a luxurious 5-acre horse ranch. When we decided to sell, but before we had the property on the market, a friend brought a cash buyer to us. The buyer wanted the ranch and actually paid almost 1.5 times the appraised value.

Over the years since, we've successfully used Spiritual Manifesting to create everything from front row parking spaces at the mall to good financial results to a poodle puppy, which appeared at just the right time at a pet store we normally never enter. While we don't always seem to be successful, we usually manifest what we need when we try.

As a direct result of these experiences, I've spent quite a bit of my time studying spiritual manifesting in an attempt to become better at it. There are some books which I've found to be very helpful and they're found in the library section of this website.

You're probably wondering if spiritual-based manifesting is very difficult. I assure you that it isn't. All humans do it every day. We spiritually manifest every result that we get in our lives. Culturally, we're not predisposed to realize that we're responsible for our results, so it's difficult for us to understand manifesting.
